Nothing on my agenda.... at least for today. Gotta have my appointment and such writen on the calander so I dont forget anything... or trust me, I will. Not the most exciting photo, but it does give you an idea in to a week (or month) into my life.

1.365 A Week in Our Lives

This weeks topic is "A Week in Our Lives." My first image of the week is of my baby girl Emily in her crib. As the "newborn choas " has started to settle down we are working on a sleep schdule both mommy and baby can live with. This is her drifting off to sleep tonight.

Week 6/52 - Botanical Feb

So before I got this weeks photo done, I was wondering where in the world I was going to find flowers in Feb. to take pictures of. Well last night when my wonderful husband came home from work he had bought me 2 dozen red and pink roses for Valentines Day. So this morning I got up and was able to do the assignment for this week. So enjoy!



And because my roses are SO beautiful, here are a couple more shots!

Playing Catch Up

Over the last couple of weeks we've been in the process of moving so I haven't had access to the internet, however I have been keeping up on the 52 week challenge. So now that we are all settled in to our new home and have my internet back I can post the pictures for last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

Week 4/52 - Water ... what better than rubber duckies to add fun to a water shot!

Week 5/52 - Sports... a little good ole bowling! This is probably my favorite shot from my daughters birthday bowling party. I love her stance and the motion blur around her arms.

3/52 Show Your Town

So I wandered down to good ol' downtown Kansas City today to get some shots of my town for this weeks subject. This is a shot of the Sprint Center that was just recently built last year or so. It also shows reflections of the Power and Light District. Thought it was a good choice for this subject!

Week 1 of 52 Photo Challenge

This is my first entry for the 1 a week challenge of 2009. This was also taken with my new 50mm f/1.8 lens (in love with it!) Just a simple shot of the wind chime that hangs on my porch.
