Recent Ones of my Kiddos

Lately I've been doing a few Portfolio Buliding sessions and posting them. So I thought since I'm done editing and posting those I would post some recent ones of my little ones.

Lilly is getting so big. She is already 6 months old. The time has just flown by. She's scooting around, almost sitting up on her one completely, and eating jar food. She is such a doll, she just keeps getting more and more beautiful everyday.


Maddie is coming up on being 2 and 1/2 years old, but I swear you wouldn't think so. She is so smart and advanced. She keeps me entertained as she is my little comedian... there's never a dull moment with her around.

Kayleigh just started 1st grade. Her cheerleading has started back up again. And now she wants to be in Girl Scouts. Can you tell this girl always has to be on the go? She has so much personality and it shows in everything she does! (Including this picture... this is SO her!)

And there is my only boy Dylan. He just started 3rd grade this year and joined a local Soccer leauge. He also wants to go back into Cub Scouts. He is getting so old and is so full of life and positivity. When we did his shoot we included his soccer ball to "celebrate" his first year in soccer.

This little beauty is Miley and is a month old. She was a trooper even though I'm sure she didnt want me in her face with the camera. I enjoyed the shoot and even got to enjoys some cuddling afterwords. Here is her sneak peak.

This little man here is my future son-in-law! Baby Gavin is my best friends baby who after 8 months of life is just now having real pictures done. Hopefully after seeing his preview I will have convinced her to do it more frequently. =) I had so much fun photographing this little ham. Hope you like them Janet!

Maternity Preview | Kansas City MO Area Photographer

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Miss Alex in her last week of pregnacncy. Her and her boyfriend were so much fun to work with, they're a really easy going playful couple. They made my job so easy. Here is a quick sneak peek into their maternity session.

An Attempt

At trying to get my 2 year old to pose for me. It didn't go as I planned. For some reason I got this crazy notion that she would pose and smile pretty for mommy. -- Wrong! I kept clickin' away in hopes of getting a good shot, these are what I came up with. Cooperable or not, she's still my little beauty.

A Couple of my New Favorite Things

I finally broke down and bought some seamless background paper (just a small roll)... love it, favorite thing # 1. Today I got it out (after having it for little over a week now) to get some pictures with it, and got favorite thing #2.. this new picture of Lilly. Needless to say, I gotta get me some more seemless paper and play some more.



And while I'm at it here is a few recent shots. I got these using a "poor mans macro lens" (the end lens from a pair of binoculars taped to my lens kit [check out how to do it yourself here: http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/how-i-took/69750-binocular-trick-no-macro-lens-no-problem.html])

Its was a lot harder than it shows through in the picture to get this shot. Thank god for my remote. I was quite proud that I did so well without actually being in front of the camera. I was also a little impressed with myself with the pose. =) Anywho Id just like to say I love my family... they put up with so much of my mess when it comes to my photography, and god love them for that!
